The AlMg5 welding wire is one of the most widely used for welding alumin9um alloys. Aluminium binder containing 5% magnesium for TIG and MIG welding is seawater-resistant AL-Mg. It provides a higher crack resistance than low magnesium binders. The welding area must be cleaned to the metallic shine before starting the work.
